Fear of the Deep

Published in 2016, Fear of the Deep was the first book-length collaboration between Elisabeth Sharp McKetta and Troy Passey. It fuses McKetta's poetic fragments with Passey's minimalist artwork. Fear of the Deep is about the ebb and flow of human connection and mortality as symbolized by the ocean; it’s rooted in the idea that life is both beautiful and terrible. We are donating 10% of proceeds to Suicide Prevention Action Network of Idaho. Their work helps people find courage.
